Why the Right to Safety Training
Through the Right to Safety (RTS) training, individuals and workplaces empower their people. Here are a few of the benefits to completing the training and earning certification:
- Domestic violence victims have a safe place to disclose their experience.
- Domestic violence victims receive viable resources and services to empower them beyond their circumstances.
- RTS certified workplaces & faith communities can meet the needs of victims who are suffering in silence.
- RTS certified workplaces & faith communities are equipped with resources for victims.
- RTS certified workplaces & faith communities can adequately handle disclosures.
RTS certified workplaces may experience less sick days usages as victims will not have to miss work because of evidence of abuse.
About the Right to Safety Curriculum
Dr. Tracey created the Right to Safety (RTS) Curriculum in 2021 as a branch from her 2019 copyrighted empowerment coaching curriculum, “Renew”. The RTS Curriculum is designed to combat the silence arounddomestic violence and offer invaluable education and empowerment to individuals and workplaces. Dr. Tracey’s thirty-year career in the human services industry and her decade-plus experience in providing, managing, and developing domestic violence intervention services, inspired the RTS curriculum.
