GT Empowerment Services, LLC was formed in 2019. Through Dr. Tracey’s work to break the silence of domestic violence abuse, she launched the Right to Safety (RTS) training and certification offered by GTES. 

GTES launched in North Carolina and services workplaces globally. The organization specializes in training learning institutions, faith-based organizations, churches, businesses, and professionals in the human services industry. 

GT Empowerment Services, LLC was launched to ensure that marginalized populations of professionals and people of faith have a customized domestic intervention resource. Domestic violence is a silent epidemic among professionals and the faith community. There is a need for faith-based domestic violence empowerment curricula and resources. GT Empowerment Services provides workplace and faith-based training, resources and empowerment services.

Dr. Tracey D. Ray, DMin, MA, MA is the CEO and owner of GT Empowerment Services.  She holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Leadership & Renewal from Regent University and has completed extensive research regarding domestic violence and victims’ issues. Dr. Tracey is the creator of Right to Safety (RTS) training and certification program that incorporates teachings from her published empowerment coaching curriculum.

Dr. Tracey has worked for more than twenty-eight years to serve marginalized populations; and is dedicated to empowering victims/survivors, to get from where they are to where they desire to be. As a result of her dedication and work in the community and the workplace, Dr. Tracey was appointed in January 2021 by Governor Roy Cooper to serve on the North Carolina Council for Women. The Council advises the Governor, the principal State departments, and the State legislature concerning the education and employment of women in the State of North Carolina. Additionally, Dr. Tracey is also an ordained Elder with vast experience with faith-based organizations and churches. 

Dr. Tracey is a survivor of domestic violence and understands firsthand the struggles of suffering in silence. She recognizes the devastations associated with working while in fear of, or pain from, being abused. As well, Dr. Tracey is also among the statistics of victims who suffer in silence while also being active participants of a church/faith community. The culmination of Dr. Tracey’s work is to reduce this reality for the many victims who are in these same situations.
